Logo File Change

In Themes I tried to change the Logo File Path but it didn't appear to work for me but also I didn't make a note of the Original file path since the button at the bottom gives the option to restore to the default - this didn't seem to work. I looked up the demo Logo file path which is logo2.png and used this but to no avail.

What should the default root be (relative root and name)
