Sorry, I don't get it ...

Sorry, I simply don't understand how to get this script working. There are no error messages showing me that I'm doing something wrong. And, just to apologize in advance, your installation and setup guide isn't much of a help, to be honest.

I downloaded your script to my account, created both a data_yaddayadda and cache_yaddayadda folder, set them both to 777 and logged in with the default name and password via "Setup".

Afterwards I created a photo_yaddayadda folder on the same level as the data and cache folder and placed some sub-folders in it. These folders have the names of the categories I'd like to be displayed. And in each sub-folder there is one example photo file.

And now? Sorry, I'm stuck.

My home page shows sort of default thumbs of 21 php files, all beginning with "album_ ..."
In "Galleries" there's a pulldown menu showing " /21", same as in "Pictures". When I click on "Scan directories now" seemingly nothing happens, neither in any of those menus nor on the home page.

I really do appreciate any help! Your script looks very nice and well-designed, so I'd just like to know what I'm dowing wrong. :-(
