Uploads

I like the upload feature, but I don't have the option of setting up multiple user names for FTP access (actually I do, but different users can't upload to the same file space) and, naturally, I'm not going to hand out my account login and password.

Is it possible to store and cloak the login and password for uploading?

And maybe not show the file owner and group for anyone but the superuser?
