Restricting Access

This is probably a really daft question, but I'm stuck...
I have a number of galleries, with sub galleries.. I would like to restrict access to some of the subgalleries, but can't work out how to.
Eg:
Gal1 contains 3 more galleries A,B,C
Gal2 contains 2 more gallerirs D,E
I would like user1 and user2 to be able to see Gal1 and Gal2, but user2 can only see A,B
By giving permission to Gal1, I automatically imply permission to all sub galleries? I'm sure I'm missing something...

It looks a little bit like
It looks a little bit like this problem: http://www.phpalbum.net/node/921
You can give each sub-gallery a permission by clicking on galleries and then use the pulldown menu to get to select the desired sub-gallerie. At almost the bottom of the page there is the option to set permissions. Maybe this is what you are looking for.

Hi Joep
Thanks for your reply, I'd seen your previous comment and was/am still stuck!?
My problem is that by giving a user permission to a directory they automatically get permission to all sub directories.
Example:
Gallery: Holiday
Sub Gals: Ibiza and Africa
If I give any group permission to see Holiday to be seen, they automatically see Ibiza & Africa? What I would like so that only some users can see Ibiza.
They only solution I can find is to have all my galleries at root level, which is very messy.
You can add a group to a sub gallery's permission but this doesn't help as they still cannot see it, if they can't see its parent.
I was sure it is possible to
I was sure it is possible to configure PA to your needs but it isn't.
It is just another design bug, I'll have to rethink this feature, i.e. access restriction to some galleries for groups and may be users too.
