Where do you setup SMTP information

I can't seem to figure out where you setup your SMTP server.
Also, will this support SSL connections to SMTP. I'd like to use Gmail's.

This you have to setup for your php installation. I just use php function for sending email. No connecting to SMTP or similar. This does PHP for me if it is set up correctly.
