File Exclusion Pattern

Would it be possible to add an option to exclude specific file types from the file lists (based on their extension)? As well as to give friends/family access to my photo's I use the site as a backup for my Windows PC photo's, making a complete replica of my Windows PC directories. As you may or may not be aware Windows throws a "thumbs.db" file in every image directory - it contains caches of the images. It is not helpful to have these files visible from within phpAlbum and I don't really want to have to manually exclude them all in the setup screen.
