Any way to make a newly registered user go into a specific group?

Is there any way to make a newly registered user go into a specific group?

I have it configured so guests cannot see pictures, but when they register, they're still guests. I want phpAlbum to automatically place them into a special slightly more privileged group so they can view.

There are checkboxes

There are checkboxes "default" for each group if you go to the Setup->Groups. This specifies the group to which new registered users will belong :)

Is this possible to restrict groups to pictures

Is this possible to restrict specific groups to their assigned pictures or albums.. so they can't change parameter values?
