Customize Album Thumbs

The album thumbs at the left side of the front page the script is selecting are not very suitable to express what´s behind the albums.
I want to select fixed thumbs for the albums but I couldn´t find the routine that is used for displaying the album
thumbs.
Where can I enter the path for the thumbs I want to use?

You can select one picture
You can select one picture in Setup->Pictures for each gallery which will be used as Gallery thumbnail.
The picture must be in the gallery folder but it can be invisible if you choose so. So you could use some pictures for the thumbs which will be not displayed as a picture in that gallery.
