Can't Connect to FTP Server

is anyone out there having trouble connecting to the FTP server throught the upload manager? i have been using phpAlbum on several different servers and never encountered this error. everything else in the program works, and i can use Cute FTP to upload photos and that works too but, no matter what i try i cannot access it.
could it have anything to do with the NEW hosting configuration with GoDaddy?
please help.

I am having an issue with the Upload Manager as well.
Put in my info and check my error log and it pops this out.

Cannot connect to ftp (upload manager)
Hi,
I am having the same problem.
Please post if you did find a solution.
The adresse of my ftp is something like ftp://blablabla.net and I am able to connect via a browser. I tried to input this adresse in the main setup , but I get this error Unable to connect to the server
And in the error log files:
ftp_connect() [function.ftp-connect]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known.
C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-5.3.5.0\www\phpAlbum\setup.php (Line:1135)
Please help, as I cannot fix this.
