Configurations problems

When I try to create a gallery, I get PHP errors:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ']' in /home/xxxx/public_html/gallery/phpdatabase.php(557) : runtime-created function on line 1

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/xxxx/public_html/gallery/phpdatabase.php on line 680

Any suggestions?
