Need Folder Icon For Folder With Only Sub-Folders

I'm trying to configure my layout to have photos by the year they were taken. Within each year's folder, I have folders for the individual dates. The problem is that the folders for the years have the "No Pictures Found" icon. I'd rather they had a photo from deeper into the site.

Fixed it myself two ways
Came up with two solutions:
1) I modified the "nopic.png" file in the "res" folder. I made the file into our site logo with text.
The downside is that all empty folders will have this new logo. The upside is that our logo is on display.
2) Move a picture from a sub-directory into the higher directory. Go into "Setup". Select "Pictures". Select the folder in the "Gallery" drop-down box. It has one photo. Now uncheck "Visible" and check "Use for directory logo".
The photo can be seen as the thumbnail for the master folder, but not in the master folder itself. This keeps it from getting mixed up with the sub-folder thumbnails.
