FTP and Security

I installed php album successfully , it's a great app; however concerning the upload manager .

the ftp used is the same for the whole phpAlbum app.
i think for some security issues uploading photos should only be restricted to the photos_xxxxxx/ directory .

so i created a ftp login only to access photos_xxxx/ this works when i usy my ftp client file Zilla , but in the upload manager when using those logins ... i have an error "wrong username and password" .

i used the istalled to install phpalbum , so is tehre any config i need to do in order to change the ftp in the upload manager ?
