how to check if any configuration is bad ( phpalbum on windows )

hi, i have installed apache+php + phpalbum on a windows XP

in the php.ini i am enabled the GD2 library and the mbstring, when i test:

localhost/phpalbum
not display anything (blank page) why? any advice?

how to fix?

They don't redirect to main.php

try to change the setting short_open_tag to true in your php.ini
This could help I think, actual version of phpAlbum uses short open tags.
