Can't get the PHPAlbum to work after install
Submitted by Orion on Sat, 2009-09-05 13:15.
Hi,
I followed the installation guide (http://www.phpalbum.net/node/443) but afterwards i get these errors... http://aboo.no-ip.org/phpAlbum/
The configuration line looks like this
$data_dir="data_P6IbpVyv/"; /* !!strongly recommended to use some other directory (security issues)*/
(note the /)
And my folders is named data_P6IbpVyv, cache_P6IbpVyv, photos_P6IbpVyv (without /)
Im using IIS 7.0 and php-5.2.10 under windows server 2008 and i have set the permissions for my IIS users to have full control of these directorys(afaik,I'm quite new to IIS).
I have no idea what to do. I hope you can solve it
EDIT: Now i made it so Everyone have full access to the fodler but stil no luck =(
Regards Orion

It looks like you're having
It looks like you're having some php related problems
Is php properly installed?
I myself don't know much about IIS. But why don't you try a WAMP-based server. I have at home an USBWebser it uses Apache, MySQL and PHP. You install it on an USB-stick and almost all the settings are ready to use.
http://www.usbwebserver.com/UsbWebserver_en.rar
The only thing is, all the documentatiopn is in Dutch.

Can it have something to do
Can it have something to do with the naming of the folders?
The instalation instructions says that the folder should be named with a '/' afterwards but thats impossible to do :/
It also can be a problem
It also can be a problem with the folder seperator '/'. I believe that windows based servers use '\' instead of '/' what unix-based servers use.

I had the same problem as topic starter has.
I found out where the problem was. Like FotoJoep wrote it was a problem with the folder seperator '/'.
