blank page on index.php

I install phpAlbum and unzip it.
I changed to config.php and put the good directory data and cache and created them.
But when I go on index.php, I have a blank page with no error.
What shoul I do?

Why don't you use the
Why don't you use the webinstaller?
It creates all the necessary folders.
I've used the webinstaller several times and have never had problems wilt it.
