behavior of Download link

Hallo, nice work - phpAlbum.

I am looking for a possibility to change the behavior of the download link at the bottom of the image.
Usually a new window opens and the user has to rightclick on the picture to download it.

Sometimes this is to complicated for some users.

Is there an possibility to change this behavior so that the window appears, where the user can choose an opening application or and thats what i want a place where to save on HD .
