Random photos on main page

Just curious, how do you show newest pictures on the main page?

I did 2 uploads and directory scans since Thursday but I still get the same 12 pics from Thursday. TYhe only way I can get the new ones is by changing the numbers of pics I want 12 and every time I put 12 in the main directory, the same old pics from Thursday show up. What can I do to get the new 12 ones every time?

I scanned the directories every time I added something (3 times until now), but only the 12 pics from last Thursday show up in the first page, unless I ask for a different number of pics, but I like 12 and so does the other admin.

All the images show up in their own directory and the subdirectory really shows the latest pics. I have problems only with the first page but that's what visitors see and I'd like them to see the newest pics, like they did before.

I didn't put the date showing on my pics, so I can't answer that.

I found the culprit. The cache was 32 mg! I deleted it and the newest images now show up like they're supposed to.

I wanted to tell in case it happens to someone else.
